Site Planner

A Site Planner at the edge of a settlement plot in Kingdoms.

Site Planner is the general name given to the unique Droppers used to add new structures to the player's settlement in Kingdoms, fortress in Counteroffensive, and city in Refugee. Some may have different names, but they all largely function in the same manner.

Generation[]

Site Planners are generated as part of new structures added to the settlement, fortress, or city. In the case of the two former, they will appear at the edges of the plot or bridge respectively in each cardinal direction that does not already have a structure present. In the case of the latter, one Tower Planner will appear at the top of each new structure, unless it is a roof, or at the top of each new tower begun by an Intersection. Types of Site Planners include:

  • Site Planner (For standard town structures in Kingdoms)
  • Castle Planner (For finishing castle wings in Kingdoms)
  • War Planner (For standard fortress structures in Counteroffensive
  • Portal Reactor (For finishing the End Portal in the player's town as part of Refugee)
  • Tower Planner (For standard city recipes in Refugee)

Site Planners do not drop Droppers when broken by the player or by mob griefing, such as a Creeper's explosion. Placing a new Dropper in that spot does not regenerate the Site Planner; new or replacement Site Planners cannot be created by the player, except by building a new structure to generate Site Planners for adjacent plots.

Site Planner GUI

The Site Planner GUI; it is identical to a Dropper, but behaves like a Crafting Table.

Usage[]

Placing recipes in Site Planners per the appropriate Site Recipes book for that dimension works in the same way as crafting an item in a Crafting Table: the 3x3 grid is filled with the described items in the exact arrangement and quantity by the player. Most structures will share a similar item or layout in their recipes; for Kingdoms, a Building Permit must be placed in the middle for most structures. Counteroffensive uses Gold Ingots in the middle of all of its structures, and at least 32 Nether Brick items making up the bottom three slots. In Refugee, most structures require Popped Chorus Fruit, End Rods, Obsidian, Nether Brick items, and End Stone, as well as either Ender Pearls or a Tyrant Locus, a unique Eye of Ender with limited availability.

If the correct recipe has been input into the Site Planner, it will build the corresponding structure, along with any necessary Site Planners. It will also remove any Site Planners on plots adjacent to the one being built that face it, preventing the player from accidentally overwriting the structure later. All items in the Site Planner is consumed, including any Buckets, whether they are filled or not. Even if the recipe is correct, it may take a few seconds before the structure is built.
